PSP - Pneumatic Sample Press

Graphite targets are pressed reliably, reproducibly and fast with the pneumatic sample press (PSP) from Ionplus. By the push of a button, an easy-to-clean pin presses samples from the back of cathodes with an adjustable force of 100 to 800 N. By pressing graphites from the back the surface contamination is significantly reduced and reproducibility of sample currents is improved due to a well-defined graphite position.

Cathode holders for all common types of AMS cathodes are available for the PSP.
