We were able to expand our production area by an additional 184 m². With this we optimize our production process fundamentally and gain the option of additional assembly line workplaces. Six workstations will be created in the new space, which will be dedicated to Factory Acceptance Testing. This allows us to decouple the QA and R&D processes spatially and temporally from the otherwise linear production processes. In addition, we are setting up an area with a further six workstations designated for prototype construction, as well as a storage area for AMS prototypes, in the same space.
The preparation of the area took more than five months. Walls were torn down, pipes were moved and new ones were built. In addition, the foundation was laid with a suitable floor covering, lighting, as well as gas and compressed air supply and electrical equipment. The costs for the building side measures amount to approx. CHF 80'000 and additionally to approx. CHF 30'000 for the initial equipment of the workplaces.
Erweiterung der Produktionsfläche

Wir konnten unsere Produktionsfläche um zusätzliche 184 m² erweitern. Damit optimieren wir unseren Produktionsprozess grundsätzlich und gewinnen die Option auf weitere Anlagestellplätze. Auf der neuen Fläche entstehen sechs Arbeitsplätze, welche nur für das Factory Acceptance Testing ausgestattet werden. Dies erlaubt uns die räumliche und zeitliche Entkopplung der QM-Prozesse vom ansonsten linearen Fertigungsprozess. Weiter richten wir auf derselben Fläche einen Bereich mit weiteren sechs Arbeitsplätzen nur für den Prototypenbau ein sowie eine Stellfläche für AMS-Prototypen.
Die Herrichtung der Fläche dauerte über fünf Monate, es mussten Wände eingerissen wie auch Leitungen versetzt und neu erstellt werden. Zusätzlich erfolgte der Grundbau mit einem geeigneten Bodenbelag, der Beleuchtung sowie mit Gas und Druckluftversorgung und den elektrischen Einrichtungen. Der Kostenrahmen für die bauseitigen Massnahmen beläuft sich auf ca. CHF 80‘000 und zusätzlich auf ca. CHF 30‘000 für die Erstausstattung der Arbeitsplätze.
